DESCRIPTION
The LT®1373 is a low supply current high frequency current mode switching regulator.
It can be operated in all standard switching configurations including boost, buck, flyback, forward, inverting and “Cuk.”
A 1.5A high efficiency switch is included on the die, along with all oscillator, control and protection circuitry.
All functions of the LT1373 are integrated into 8-pin SO/PDIP packages.
Compared to the 500kHz LT1372, which draws 4mA of quiescent current, the LT1373 switches at 250kHz, typically consumes only 1mA and has higher efficiency.
High frequency switching allows for small inductors to be used.
All surface mount components consume less than 0.6 square inch of board space.
New design techniques increase flexibility and maintain ease of use.
Switching is easily synchronized to an external logic level source.
A logic low on the shutdown pin reduces supply current to 12mA.
Unique error amplifier circuitry can regulate positive or negative output voltage while maintaining simple frequency compensation techniques.
Nonlinear error amplifier transconductance reduces output overshoot on start-up or overload recovery.
Oscillator frequency shifting protects external components during overload conditions.

SP432-Low Voltage Adjustable Precision Shunt Regulators

DESCRIPTION
The SP432 is low-voltage three-terminal adjustable voltage references, with specified thermal stability over applicable industrial and commercial temperature ranges.
Output voltage can be set to any value between VREF (1.24V) and 20V with two external resistors.
These devices have a typical output impedance of 0.25Ω. Active output circuitry provides a very sharp turn-on characteristic, making the SP432 excellent replacements for low-voltage Zener diodes in many applications, including onboard regulation and adjustable power supplies.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The patent-pending ACT8700 is a complete, costeffective, highly-efficient ActivePMUTM power management solution that is ideal for a wide range of portable handheld equipment.
This device integrates two step-down DC/DC converters, one stepup DC/DC converter with over-voltage protection(OVP) for WLED bias, and a full-featured, linearmode Li+ battery charger-into a single, thin, spacesaving package.
REG1 and REG2 are fixed-frequency, current-mode PWM step-down DC/DC converters that are optimized for high efficiency and are capable of supplying up to 350mA and 500mA, respectively. REG3 is a fixed-frequency, step-up DC/DC converter that safely and efficiently biases a string of up to seven white-LEDs for backlighting.
The battery charger incorporates an internal power MOSFET for constant-current/constant-voltage, thermally regulated charging of a single-cell Li+ battery.
The ACT8700 is available in a tiny 4mm x 4mm 24-pin Thin-QFN package that is just 0.75mm thin.
