WM8706 - 24-bit, 192kHz Stereo DAC with Volume Control

DESCRIPTION
The WM8706 is a high performance stereo DAC designed for audio applications such as DVD, home theatre systems, and digital TV.
The WM8706 supports data input word lengths from 16 to 32-bits and sampling rates up to 192kHz.
The WM8706 can implement 2 channels at 192kHz for highend DVD-Audio.
The WM8706 consists of a serial interface port, digital interpolation filters, multi-bit sigma delta modulators and stereo DAC in a small 28-pin SSOP package.
The WM8706 also includes a digitally controllable mute and attenuate function on each channel.
The WM8706 supports a variety of connection schemes for audio DAC control.
The MPU serial port provides access to a wide range of features including on-chip mute, attenuation and phase reversal.
A hardware controllable interface is also available.
It is pin-compatible with the WM8716 provided the oscillator circuit on WM8716 is not required in the application.
The WM8706 is an ideal device to interface to AC-3, DTS , and MPEG audio decoders for surround sound applications, or for use in DVD players supporting DVD-A.

AME5107 - PWM Control 3A Buck Converter

General Description
AME5107 provides low-ripple power, high efficiency, and excellent transient characteristics.
The PWM control circuit is able to vary the duty ratio linearly from 0 up to 100%.
This converter also contains an error amplifier circuit as well as a soft-start circuit that prevents overshoot at startup.
An enable function, an over current protect function and a short circuit protect function are built inside, and when OCP or SCP happens, the operation frequency will be reduced from 350KHz to 30KHz.
Also, an internal compensation block is built in to minimum external component count.
With the addition of an internal P-channel Power MOS, a coil, capacitors, and a diode connected externally, these ICs can function as step-down switching regulators.
They serve as ideal power supply units for portable devices when coupled with the SOP-8L mini-package, providing such outstanding features as low current consumption.
Since this converter can accommodate an input voltage up to 18V, it is also suitable for the operation via an AC adapter.

General Description
The ICS950910 is a single chip clock solution for desktop designs using the VIA P4X/P4M/KT/KN266/333 style chipsets with PC133 or DDR memory.
The ICS950910 is part of a whole new line of ICS clock generators and buffers called TCH™ (Timing Control Hub).
This part incorporates ICS's newest clock technology which offers more robust features and functionality.
Employing the use of a serially programmable I2C interface, this device can adjust the output clocks by configuring the frequency setting, the output divider ratios, selecting the ideal spread percentage, the output skew, the output strength, and enabling/disabling each individual output clock.
M/N control can configure output frequency with resolution up to 0.1MHz increment.

ZXLD1321 - Boost mode DC-DC converter for LED driving with 1A output and current control

Description
 The ZXLD1321 is an inductive DC-DC converter, with an internal switch, designed for driving single or multiple LEDs in series up to a total of 1A output current.
Applications cover commercial environments with input voltages ranging from 1.2V to 12V.
The device employs a variable 'on' and 'off' time control scheme with adjustable peak switch current limiting and supports step-up (Boost) mode and self-powering Bootstrap operating modes, offering higher power efficiency and lower system cost than conventional PFM circuitry.
The device includes the DC-DC converter, a high-side current monitor and an NPN switching transistor to provide an integrated solution offering small PCB size, competitive cost/performance, high power efficiency of DC-DC conversion and maximum LED brightness/reliability.
More importantly, it retains design flexibility to add customer specific features.
The feedback control circuitry inside the ZXLD1321 provides excellent load and current regulation, resulting in very stable LED current over the useful life of the battery and over the full operating temperature range.
The LED current can be adjusted from 100% down to 10% of the set value by applying a dc voltage to the ADJ pin and down to 1% by applying a PWM signal to the ADJ pin.
An onchip LED protection circuit also allows output current to be reduced linearly above a predetermined threshold temperature using an external thermistor at the TADJ pin.
External resistors set nominal average LED current and coil peak current independently.
The device can be shut down by applying a continuous low level dc voltage to the ADJ pin.

The ability to operate from ±15V analog power supplies enables the PGA2310 to process input signals with large voltage swings, thereby preserving the dynamic range available in the overall signal path.
